BEAMSODA installed Mimic as part of the Cutty Cargo live arts project. We combined 7 Mimics to create a twenty five metre long light installation spanning the ceiling of a temporary event space. The setup can be seen in London, New York and Tokyo in the coming year. We added our sound reactive extra so the whole setup came to life in sync with the live DJ and bands. Mimic was able to adapt to the different events in the space from theatre to live music. For this project we installed Mimic on the ceiling but it works just as well lent against walls or wall mounted behind a bar area.
